Corn was thought of as the "first food" and the "first Mother" energy by the ancient indigenous peoples of the Southwestern United States, and this reality still holds true. The idea of planting Corn involved the living act of sowing "seeds of abundance." The the reality of abundance referred to here are true "Pearls of Wisdom" indeed and involves the concept of planting a veritable "garden of life" energetically, so, to speak, in which we are able to respect one another and all the beings that live on our beautiful planet, as well as walk in balance on the Great Red Road of Earth's journey. If each of us were able to do so, all our lives would be abundant indeed.

An enameled Sterling Silver Bail displays a large 12 mm. pearl of a beautiful golden color, as well as a tiny hand-enameled lost wax cast Sterling Silver Corn, complemented with many tiny antique glass, shell and sterling silver beads, as well as an "abundance" of fresh water "Biwa" pearls. The necklace is completed with Silver cones and clasp.

Dimensions: Bail, 12mm. Pearl with corn and dangles, 2¼" long. Necklace length, 17".
