The "FOUR DIRECTIONS" represent the Four Winds, the Four Seasons, the Four Spirit Keepers of the Gates and our place on the Wheel of Life "TOPA TATE." The Four Gates of the EAST --the Eagle, and illumination; the SOUTH --innocence and the inner-child, and home of the Mouse, Coyote an Wolf; The WEST -- the Bear, and the Mountain Lion -- the feminine and intuition; and the NORTH -- the Buffalo, the Elders and our gifts and talents. They all teach us many things about ourselves -- it is important to offer them gratitude. This pouch is meant to contain Sacred Objects that will honor the Spirit Keepers of the Four Directions. . .Topa Tate.

Created from recycled cow rawhide, the stiff leather sides are stitched with antique glass beads. The FRONT FLAP of soft Deer suede contains a Sterling Silver Concho, a large antique Silver bead, and Fish Vertebrae, as well as bone, and glass beads. It has been hand painted. When you lift the flap up, it reveals the FRONT OF the POUCH which has been elaborately hand painted with an ornamental Four Directions Shield. The Pouch is further enhanced with Antique clay, glass and bone beads, and braded Deer Suede strap.
